The Urquhart Partnership

The Urquhart Partnership are a UK based, independently owned Consultancy business, with offices in Aberdeen and Manchester. Established in 1995, they have grown year on year and are now one of the leading organisations in their field.

The Challenge

The Urquhart Partnership (TUP) were using another ASP recruitment solution but decided that its limited functionality was a major hindrance for the ongoing growth of the company. It was very slow as an ASP solution and this was further lowering their efficiency as a recruitment organisation. TUP also had several corporate clients including TOTAL and were looking for a technology partner who could help them with the provision of additional value added services such as recruitment process outsourcing and response handling.

TUP already had a recruitment website and did not want to re-design it but wanted the additional functionality that eploy provides to be integrated with their existing site.

The Solution

During the initial evaluation of their existing data, it was apparent that it was going to be a major project to import their data into eploy. However, it was broken down into smaller projects and prioritised with clear benchmarks put in place to monitor the project cost and delivery times. The eploy development team then began to import TUP's data into a temporary system for them to provide ongoing feedback.

A dummy website was also set up and work was carried out to match the existing TUP branding and website design perfectly. This was achieved in a matter of weeks, at which time the data import project had been completed and TUP were ready to go live with eploy.

Several training days were arranged at TUP's premises in Aberdeen and one of eploy's technical experts flew up to further help with the system customisation and to discuss additional opportunities that TUP could take advantage of in relation to TOTAL and their other corporate clients.

It was decided that a completely separate eploy system would be set up for TUP to provide their recruitment outsourcing service to TOTAL with this separate system being accessible by certain members of the TUP team and other line managers etc. from TOTAL who wanted to monitor the ongoing success of their partnership with TUP and eploy.

The Result

TUP have continued their growth and prominence in their recruitment sector which has been helped by the extra efficiencies gained from migrating to eploy and the ability to track their management decisions and operational activities more closely with eploy's comprehensive management reports.

TUP provides recruitment process outsourcing and response handling services to their corporate clients such as TOTAL and their relationships with these clients has been ongoing and highly successful ever since.

Each year, the eploy development team archive previous year's candidate information and set up completely fresh recruitment systems pre-configured with TUP's recruitment work flow so TUP can manage campaigns on a year by year basis on behalf of each corporate client.
